No-cost and Fast Connectivity for All
British Airways stated that the free, “quick and reliable” wifi service from Starlink is set to be available to customers in coach, business, and premium cabins from soon.
Expanded Rollout Over Various Airlines
The holding firm of the airline, the airline group, confirmed it had finalized an deal with Starlink to provide wifi access across 500-plus jets operated by its carriers, which also include Aer Lingus, the Spanish carrier, plus the low-cost airline.
Uninterrupted Internet starting at Gate through Arrival
British Airways noted that this rollout for this technology formed part of a £7bn “transformation” plan that will provide lag-free wifi access for flyers starting at the gate through landing, including when they are flying over seas and isolated areas.
