While another instance of Ms Wandelt's recordings with Mrs McCann's answerphone stated: "Imagine there is a small chance that I am Madeleine? What happens next? Is that not crucial for you?"

"I do not need money, I maintain a existence here in Poland, I just want to discover," the recording stated.

The jury was told that by means of electronic messages, SMS messages and phone calls, Ms Wandelt asked for a genetic test, transmitted youth pictures to her phone in a attempt to demonstrate a similarity to Mrs McCann's disappeared daughter, and asserted to have "memories" from a early life with the McCanns.

Robert Jones, an investigator with the police force who compiled the information, advised the court there "seemed to lack any replies" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt also contacted acquaintances of the McCanns, according to the call data.

On October 9th, 2024, Mr McCann answered a phone call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, declaring she had "a wrong number."

That day Ms Wandelt recorded a voicemail on Mrs McCann's recording stating "I will persist and I intend to demonstrate my point."

The court learned the co-defendant established a relationship through digital means with Ms Wandelt before joining her on a trip to the McCanns' residence in the county in that winter.

Communication data showed Mrs Spragg had communicated through communication app to Mrs McCann to express the media had depicted Ms Wandelt as "mentally unstable" but that she should be treated respectfully in the time before the appearance to Rothley, Leicestershire, in that winter.

The court was told correspondence between the two individuals, in November 2024, planning endeavoring to obtain Mrs McCann's DNA samples from her trash or from cutlery at a restaurant.
